This game is designed to train both your reading comprehension and your listening skills under pressure while you are practicing vocabulary about food.
"Atrapa la Comida" is an interactive falling-item game where your goal is to match a Spanish word with its corresponding image. On the right side of your screen, you will see a target word (like "el helado" or "el café") and hear a native speaker pronounce it. Your mission is to spot that exact food item as it falls from the top of the screen and click on it before it hits the ground. Listen and read: check the target box on the right. It will display the food you need to find. If you miss the pronunciation, just click the "🔊 Escuchar" button to hear it again.
Catch the food: watch the different food bubbles falling down the screen. Click or tap on the image that matches your target word.
Earn points: you get 10 points for every correct catch. As soon as you catch the right item, a new target word will appear.
Avoid mistakes: be careful! Clicking the wrong food item will deduct 5 points from your score. If your score drops to zero, it's sudden death and the game is over.
Beat the clock: you have exactly 60 seconds on the timer. Rack up as many points as possible before the time runs out!
